Die cutter operator
Read job tickets to determine setup specifications.
Follow all standard operating procedures relevant to the die cutting department.
Observe and monitor machine operations to detect and fix any malfunctions by performing routine adjustments during press operation.
Follow instructions accurately and perform all assigned work effectively and on schedule.
Keep work area neat and clean.
Coordinate efforts as part of the team to provide assistance to all co-workers in other departments as needed to maximize production.
Follow established department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety guidelines.
Complete preventive maintenance requirements according to operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and established preventive maintenance schedules on Folder Gluers.
Set up bar code scanners, glue detectors, jam sensors kick and ejection systems.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Contribute to team effort by cross-training and providing back-up when necessary.
Contribute to team effort by exhibiting strong work ethic, problem solving, providing training and demonstrating leadership.
Contribute to quality investigations when necessary.
Able to interpret job ticket information and customer specifications to efficiently set-up and run Folder Gluers.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures and regulations.

Provide accurate costing based on all customer requirements and specifications.
Gather data needed to produce quotations.
Review data from sales (specifications, art, or previous quote).
Determine layouts and appropriate production routes based on specifications.
Select appropriate raw materials.
Determine waste and make-readies.
Convey pertinent information to sales and production.
Assess additional charges over and above manufacturing process.
Communicate and consult with other departments for information to complete quotes.
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred with concentration in Business and/or Communications.
Previous estimating experience a plus.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience:
Experience in the printing and packaging field strongly desired.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Strong organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills.
Proficient with MS Office environment, specifically Microsoft Excel.
Strong math skills and the ability to analyze and convert measurements.
GENERAL MANUFACTURING HELP
General production help needed.
Jobs include machine operators and packaging help.
Day shift, Monday – Friday.
Start up and stop equipment.
Clean production area.
Load and unload items from machines and carts.
Feed or catch loads on equipment.
Check products for quality.
Ship finished products.
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Machine operation and forklift experience a plus.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
