Printing

Color, graphics, attention to detail, and special effects are what printing is all about at UPB. Your product’s desirability depends heavily on these four elements. UPB’s commitment to value-added printing is evident in the three state of the art presses we employ. Over the years print innovations have provided: automation, computerization, stable registers, and multiple lithographic and coating units. All of these significantly increase accuracy, productivity, service, and quality. Each of our presses incorporate the latest technologies permitting quicker make-ready and shorter running times.

UPB pushes print quality and creativity with the winning combination of high attention to detail and market foresight. In 2005 UPB installed a press unique to the world, the 707+ (PLUS- Perfecting, Lacquer, UV and Specialty Coatings). The configuration of the press was a year in the making and involved several trips to Germany, where the press was built, assembled, and tested; it is a true engineering marvel. The varying press configurations are attributed to all the bells and whistles this press employs. With “one pass solutions” as the driving force, the press was configured with seven lithographic units, two coating units, a perfector (which flips the sheet, allowing us to add color on both the inside and outside of your packaging in a single pass), interdeck driers, and extended delivery. The press can run UV, hybrid, and conventional inks and coatings. It is the source for value added packaging, a great complement to the other presses employed at UPB.

Without the masters of print behind these machines they are just ordinary presses. It is our pressmen who provide the energy and know-how to innovate and get creative with these highly advanced presses. It is UPB’s willingness to be inventive and break through the boundaries that allow these presses to produce innovative packaging. With all the advancements in printing, it still remains, at it's core, an art.
