Outside Sales Executive
Responsibilities:
Independently research, target, and prospect upper SMB to lower Mid-Market manufacturers and brands, with a primary focus on custom packaging solutions.
Generate new business through consistent outbound activity (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, and field activity), without reliance on inbound leads.
Own the full sales cycle from initial discovery through quoting, negotiation, close, and early-stage account management.
Conduct consultative discovery to understand customer requirements, timelines, volumes, constraints, and operational challenges.
Develop and manage a repeatable pipeline of net-new opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and deal visibility.
Collaborate with internal estimating, customer service, production, and operations teams to ensure solution feasibility, pricing accuracy, and delivery alignment.
Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within existing accounts, including additional SKUs, programs, or locations.
Participate selectively in trade shows, regional events, or industry functions to source new leads and strengthen market presence.
Update CRM with all sales related activity and progress.
Qualifications:
Required
5+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience selling custom, non-commoditized solutions. Experience in print or any type of packaging sales, preferred.
Proven track record of self-sourced new business, with documented success closing deals.
Demonstrated ability to hunt: consistent outbound prospecting without heavy inbound lead flow.
Experience selling to upper SMB and lower Mid-Market buyers (owners, Directors, and VPs).
Full-cycle sales ownership experience, from prospecting through close.
Strong consultative discovery skills, particularly in environments involving custom specifications, timelines, and operational constraints.
High level of personal accountability, persistence, and resilience in the face of rejection.
Preferred
Ability to sell on value (cost efficiency, durability, speed, reliability), not price alone.
Comfort working cross-functionally with operations, estimating, and production teams.
Experience growing accounts after the initial sale.
Press Operator
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret instructions for each job ticket and direct set-up of press based on instructions.
Makes job ready by running sets to adjust print quality, registration, & color settings.
Makes pre-run inspection of job and receives approval to proceed from supervisor. Runs job to completion.
Check offsetting and load temperatures for various printed substrates.
Observes and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
Accurately follows instructions.
Monitors PH and conductivity of fountain solution and all other press-related chemistry.
Completes all required documentation i.e. Shop floor, manual entries, (job log, sheet count, running sequence) and all other pertinent information.
Supervises and trains press feeders and second press operator on the multi-color process.
Qualifications:
Must have minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience performing First Press Operator duties on sheet-fed equipment.
Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D.
Must have good color perception and pass a color hue and vision test.
Experience with color scanning equipment required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must have the ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Must have the ability to operate densitometers, spectrophotometers, calculators, gloss meters, PH/conductivity meters, and other printing equipment.
Must be able to work in and around UV materials.
Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodations.
Gluer Operator
Responsibilities:
Complete preventive maintenance requirements according to operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and established preventive maintenance schedules on Folder Gluers.
Set up bar code scanners, glue detectors, jam sensors, kick and ejection systems.
Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Contribute to team effort by cross-training and providing back-up when necessary.
Contribute to team effort by exhibiting strong work ethic, problem solving, providing training and demonstrating leadership.
Contribute to quality investigations when necessary.
Able to interpret job ticket information and customer specifications to efficiently set-up and run Folder Gluers.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures and regulations.
